The field is ready for tonight's showdown with Central Noble...are you? Kick-off between the Falcons and Cougars is at 7 p.m. tonight, we'll see you there!

OK, so this worked out pretty cool tonight.
The 'Blue Moon' did not disappoint, super cool to see. But to also see Saturn, awesome!
I used my 500mm lens and camera frame that I always use for ballgames and aimed at space tonight. Really neat to see the universe at our fingertips! Photos were taken around 11:25 p.m. pointing southeast. The Saturn image is a little rough, but I'm standing in my backyard without a planetarium-grade telescope at my disposal!!!
Just thought I would share!

Fairfield FFA had a very unique opportunity to attend a Farm Bureau seminar at the Showalter Farm in Benton Tuesday afternoon. What made the trip extra special was guest speaker, Congressman Rudy Yakym, who represents Elkhart County, and was on hand to tour the farm and hold a Q&A with the 50-plus people in attendance.
Yakym posed for pictures with the FFA as well as toured the Showalter facilities among his stop in the area. Fairfield FFA, led by advisor Karrin Koontz, brought nearly a dozen students to take part in the experience.
