The Fairfield Chamber Choir volunteered today at the Salvation Army Pancake Day in Goshen. The group, under the direction of Clayton Thomas sang for the large group for over 30 minutes. Many of the same students will be in the musical production The Music Man this weekend.
Fairfield has 3 teams advancing to Academic Team State! The English, Math and Social Studies teams are all advancing to Purdue on May 10th. Our Fine Arts team finished first at the area competition, but just missed out on moving on. Good luck to all the students!

Congratulations to our Fairfield students who passed their CNA Certification. Abby Graber, Natalie Belcher, Kloie Bryant, Nate Bailey, Kelsey Ornatowski, Breaunna D’Amore, and Ariana Armbruster. They all participated in the health science pathway course available at Wawasee. Students work toward their CNA certification in 11th or 12th grade & it gives them a leg up in the workforce to qualify for positions requiring it.
Madison Jones is coming off of a big week. She not only broke a school record by getting 11 hits in a row, but she hit 4 home runs in 4 games, including the first ever HR in Goshen's new stadium. Overall she was 12-15 with 16 RBI and 13 runs scored. You can vote for Madison .

The Fairfield Softball team returns Monday for a game and a special cause. The team would like your help to raise money for Wawasee Sophomore Ashlynn Corn, who is battling AML, a rare form of leukemia. A silent auction starts at 4:30 with over 30 items, while a raffle will include a Yeti Roadie Cooler and a Blackstone 2 burner griddle.

The New Paris Elementary Staff celebrated their 3rd annual "Survivor Week" the week before Spring Break. The staff had the goal of promoting school spirit so they could help the students finish strong and with joy. The fun week helps boost attendance before vacation.
Congratulations to the girls on the track team who placed at the Hoosier State Relays March 29th. Emma Walter placed 2nd in the 60M Dash. Claira Foust was 7th in the high jump, and Jaylyn Stofleth and Joya Holsopple placed 3rd and 4th in the Pole Vault.
