After Day 1 of the IHSAA Boys Golf State Finals, Fairfield sophomore Brayden Miller sits third on the individual leaderboard. Miller had three birdies - one on the front and two on the back - to card a three-under 69 at Prairie View Country Club. Miller is currently two shots behind the duo of Jacob Modleski of Guerin Catholic and Aidan Gutierrez of Valparaiso, both sitting atop the heap at five under.
Miller will tee up his second round at 8:09 a.m. on the front nine, paired with Chatard's William Pruitt and Bloomington North's Jacob Knapp.

Through nine holes at the IHSAA Boys Golf State Finals, Fairfield's Brayden Miller is currently tied for second at one-under. Miller birdied the eighth hole and was even on the remainder. Keep it up, Brayden! Penn's Dylan Mounts was the early leader at four-under through five holes.

The steam train derailed Monday as the red-hot Fairfield baseball team found defeat in the NorthWood Baseball Sectional, a 5-0 result in favor of East Noble.
East Noble starter Luke Mast outdueled Fairfield's Keegan Miller, Mast with 11 strikeouts and got out of two big jams to keep the Falcons off the board. East Noble countered with three RBIs from Reese Rouch to win its first sectional title since 1995.
Fairfield concludes its season 24-7 overall and NECC league champions for the first time in a decade. Fairfield tied a team record with those 24 wins, and eight players were named All-NECC. Alec Hershberger has been collecting awards left and right, most recently named an Indiana North-South All-Star. Coach Darin Kauffman will coach Hershberger in the All-Star game this summer.

Fairfield High School's senior class did it's walk-through this morning at Benton, New Paris and Millersburg - a final spin through the halls of their youth. The elementary students and staff lined the halls and cheered as the seniors soaked up the adoration. Here is a photo set from the morning from the three buildings, and we'll have a little video of the events coming in just a little bit! Enjoy!

On Wednesday, May 24, Fairfield Building Trades will be hosting an open house event for anyone interested in viewing the 2022-23 Building Trades project home.
The location is north of Fairfield Jr/Sr High School located at 15670 CR 42, Goshen, IN, 46528, situated to the left of the gravel lane off of CR 42. The Open House will be from 3-6 p.m.
This year's 1500 sq. ft. home was constructed for Wayne and Zoe Stanger. It is a two-bed, two-bathroom ranch-style home. The features include walk in showers, attached garage, cathedral ceiling, radiant floor heating and cedar accented front porch.

Everyone wants a voice in the world, it's just a matter of how you speak. And for some, speaking is a little more difficult. Fairfield recognizes that by employing speech pathologists, like Faith Mahony shown here with her students at New Paris Elementary. Hers and others' work with our students help put our kids on the right track to have a say in this awesome world we live in.
Thank you to those who serve our students as we recognize National Speech Pathologist's Day!

Jill Anderson's veterinary class at Fairfield ventured to a local breeding facility to assist with annual exams and vaccinations. The onsite opportunity furthers what the students are already learning within the classroom during the year, and a nice way to punctuate the end of the year.
Special thanks to Anderson for providing the photos!
